Professional Qualifications and Insurance

All electrical installation and repair work is carried out by operatives holding the appropriate professional certifications recognised under Spanish electrical regulations. Plumbing and heating work is carried out by qualified technicians. All relevant work is documented and, where required, certified with the competent authority.

Ost Repair Tool Box holds professional civil liability insurance (seguro de responsabilidad civil profesional) covering our operations. Details of our insurance policy are available on request to verified clients.

Transparency in Pricing

We provide written, itemised quotations for all work before it begins. We do not apply hidden charges, administrative fees not disclosed in the quotation, or surcharges without prior written agreement. IVA (VAT) is applied at the applicable Spanish rate and shown separately on all invoices.

Our pricing reflects the genuine cost of skilled labour, materials, and project management. We do not use artificially low initial quotes that are subsequently increased once work is underway.

Ethical Standards

We are committed to operating ethically in all aspects of our business. This includes:

Providing honest, accurate assessments of the work required — we will tell you if a repair is unnecessary or if a simpler solution exists.
Not employing undocumented workers or engaging in irregular labour practices.
Paying all applicable taxes in Spain, including IVA and income tax on earnings.
Disposing of waste materials in accordance with Spanish environmental regulations.
Not accepting referral fees, kickbacks, or commissions from material suppliers that would influence our recommendations to clients.

Complaint Handling

We take complaints seriously and have a clear process for handling them. All complaints should be submitted in writing to [email protected]. We will acknowledge within 2 business days and provide a substantive response within 5 business days.
