Ost Repair Tool Box started with a simple frustration: finding a trustworthy tradesperson for home repairs in Santander was harder than it should be. Quotes varied wildly, quality was inconsistent, and follow-through was unreliable. Andrés Ost founded the company in 2010 with one goal — to make quality home repair and renovation a straightforward, professional experience for every client.

We are not a franchise or a referral platform. Every person on our team is employed directly by us and trained to our standards. We take responsibility for the outcome of every job, from a small repair to a full apartment renovation.

Our scope covers Santander and the wider Cantabria region. We work with homeowners, landlords, property management companies, and small businesses. Whatever the size of the project, the same standards apply.

Company History

2010

Founded in Santander

Andrés Ost registered the company with two employees and a focus on plumbing and minor repairs for residential clients in the Bellavista neighbourhood.

2013

Team Expansion

Growing demand for full renovation work led us to bring in dedicated painting, flooring, and carpentry specialists. The team grew to eight permanent employees.

2016

Cantabria-Wide Operations

We extended our coverage across the Cantabria region and completed our first large-scale commercial renovation project for a local hospitality group.

2019

100th Major Project

We marked our hundredth complete home renovation with a team milestone and an internal commitment to formalise our quality standards and training protocols.

2021

Maintenance Contracts Launched

In response to demand from landlords and property managers, we introduced structured annual maintenance contracts with priority response guarantees.

2024

Over six hundred completed projects across Cantabria, a team of twelve specialists, and a client satisfaction rate consistently above 97%. We are proud of what the team has built.

Ethics & Quality Standards

We operate under Spanish commercial law and in compliance with EU consumer protection directives. All of our electrical and plumbing work is carried out by certified professionals and documented accordingly. We provide written contracts for all projects over €500, offer a minimum twelve-month workmanship guarantee on completed jobs, and maintain full professional liability insurance. If something is not right, we return to fix it — without charge.
